ROAR PROJECT 2010 is a project held by AIESEC Indonesia Local Committee Universitas Diponegoro. Itself stands for “Red Ribbon Alert” and It’s quite clear that this project intends to raise public awareness about HIV/AIDS and break the stigma to people living with HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, this project also aims to provoke proactive contribution in combating HIV from every constituent in society.

Terima kasih untuk seluruh peserta yang telah mengirimkan karya dalam lomba poster dan fotografi.
POSTER AND PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
Merupakan rangkain acara dari PBOX (Project Based On eXchange) Red Ribbon Alert 2010. Lomba ini ditujukan untuk siswa SMA atau sederajat dan mahasiswa (khusus lomba fotografi). Tujuan dari diselenggarakannya lomba ini adalah untuk mengajak kaum muda untuk turut serta melawan virus HIV/AIDS. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan media gambar, seperti poster dan fotografi.
Seperti kita ketahui, foto merupakan media 'bercerita' yang paling ampuh. Sedangkan, poster, merupakan saran berekspresi sekaligus 'bercerita'. Terlebih tema yang diangkat kali ini adalah "Pemandagan HIV/AIDS di Indonesia" memungkinkan peserta untuk mengeksplor kemampuannya dalam memandang fenomena tersebut.

More than three million people in our world were infected by the virus named HIV, and more than two million died because of AIDS.
The numbers of HIV+ cases in Indonesia have reached 4527, and AIDS cases have reached 6332. Semarang, the city where our LC located, is the riskiest city in Central Java with 225 HIV AIDS cases.
